ABOUT LESLEY TAYLOR

BIID

Lesley Taylor is an award-winning interior designer known for creating thoughtful, characterful interiors that feel both considered and lived-in. With a long-standing career in interior design, Lesley brings depth of experience, a clear creative vision and a personable, collaborative approach to every project she undertakes.

A Full Member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and an Honorary Member of the Society of British & International Design (SBID), Lesley has worked across high-end residential and independent hospitality sectors. Her standard of work has led to her being awarded the prestigious Designer Award, and she and her work have been featured in publications such as The Sunday Times Magazine, Livingetc, Homes & Gardens and Elle Decoration.

Lesley has always been committed to sharing knowledge. She is the author of 10 interior design books and has shared her insight as a newspaper columnist, with her expert advice appearing in both national and regional publications across the UK. Over ten years, she also appeared as an interior design expert on television programmes including This Morning, and Lorraine on Good Morning Britain. These experiences reflect a long-standing belief that good design is as much about understanding and education as it is about aesthetics.

Over the last decade, Lesley founded and developed Baked Tiles, a design-led tile brand that grew into a recognised name within the interiors industry, before being acquired by the Ca’ Pietra Group in 2025. Lesley is delighted to be working alongside the new owners, and is delighted by the brand’s continued amazing growth.

“LISTEN WELL.
THINK CAREFULLY.
DESIGN WITH INTENTION.”

She now divides her time between the UK and Dubai, working internationally while maintaining a hands-on, detail-driven approach. Lesley is currently recording a new podcast series, Design Diaries, created to share her knowledge of interior design through engaging guest interviews and masterclass-style conversations.

Approachable and experienced, Lesley believes the best interiors come from listening well, thinking carefully and designing with intention.
